Organic, natural spray tans work in a different way to other spray tans.
The active ingredient works with dead skin cells to turn them a darker colour.
Because of this, clients must exfoliate at least 24 hours prior to their tanning appointment so that your body has enough time to develop an even layer of dead skin cells for the tan to work with.
Not exfoliating properly can result in a patchy uneven tan.
After you leave your appointment you should leave the tan on your skin for at least 2 hours.
Avoid sweating or accidentally wetting your skin. Stay cool and dress in loose fitting clothing to avoid marks in your tan.
After at least 2 hours, you can rinse off in luke warm water. Avoid soaps, shampoos or any other cleansing agents for at least 12 hours post tan appointment to ensure the tan has enough time to develop.
Our spray tans take 24 hours to develop completely.
You will notice your skin is a bit darker around 8 hours after the tan and the full colour will be seen 24 hours after your appointment.
For any special occasions you want that golden glow for, we recommend getting your tan 48 hours prior.
For example, your occasion is on Saturday. We recommend getting your appointment around Thursday evening.

If you do wish to book in for a spray tan, make sure you carry out the necessary preparation. As organic spray tans adhere to dead skin cells it is important you exfoliate at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure an even dead skin cell layer. Exfoliating on the same day as your tanning appointment may result in a patchy uneven tan.
