Skin Needling

Collagen Induction therapy, micro needling and skin needling is performed with either a pen or roller containing tiny needles that penetrate the skin.

The needles create tiny micro channels in the skin which help to deliver serums deeper into the skins layers.

In order to heal these micro channels, the skin begins collagen synthesis resulting in plumper, smoother and more hydrated skin.

We allow around 60 mins for each area being treated.

We start by cleansing the skin before applying your topical anaesthetic.

Then we treat the area.

Everyone is different and each appointment in a series of treatments is different but down time is minimal.

You can expect your skin to be very red for the first few hours and sometimes up to 24 hours post appointment.

Often clients will experience a sunburn feeling in their skin which can last 24 hours.

The most you will feel is a sandpaper like feeling as the pen passes over your skin much like microdermabrasion.
