Summer is one of the best times of the year especially if you live on the Gold Coast. The sun is shining, the beach is calling and we are celebrating the festive season with colleagues, friends and family.
If you’re anything like me you are probably drinking a bit too much and eating all of the festive foods. All of these things (while so much fun) definitely aren’t the best for having glowing skin, so what products can I recommend that will give you that little bit extra hydration, protection and nourishment?
If you were at my house and opened my bathroom cabinet (I know you’d love to..) these are the products you would find front and centre this summer season.
Queen of the Night – Mukti Organics
Recently released by one of our favourite suppliers, Mukti, this sumptuous and deeply moisturising night crème is fortified with Queen Garnet Plum, a new type of plum that was developed here in Queensland in 2010 as a premium super antioxidant fruit.

I personally love this cream so much. It is thick enough to feel like you are really nourishing your skin and yet it still feels like its penetrating. Dry patches I’ve had trouble managing in my ageing skin are gone and I’ve noticed I don’t need to exfoliate as much anymore. A new personal fave for me!
Clemence Clarify + Protect
The number one skin health rule is – wear sunscreen every day! Clemence Clarify and Protect is the solution for an SPF you can wear as a moisturiser and is perfect under your makeup. Light and creamy, it absorbs into the skin leaving a dewy base for makeup or going makeup free.
This wonder cream is a skincare as well as sun protection. In my opinion, Hyaluronic Acid should be a staple in everyone’s skincare regimen. Especially if you are aged over 25. The body naturally produces Hyaluronic Acid which helps to hydrate the skin however this production declines as early as 20 years of age. Many HA’s on the market are sourced from rooster combs but not our brand Earth and Skin. Our HA is made from a biofermentation process of plants so it is not only vegan friendly but also cruelty free. Use HA daily under your moisturiser at night for added hydration and plumpness.
Sheet Masks
