As humans, we can experience seasons similar to the earth and if we move with the ebb and flow of the seasons we become more connected with the earth and allow our being to become balanced. Our therapists have designed bespoke facials to align with seasonal changes supporting glowing skin year round.
Winter is here in the southern hemisphere and it is a time to rest and recover. It is the time to allow yourself to sleep a little longer, curl up on the sofa with a good novel; it’s the time to nurture your body with warm nourishing foods and to add a boost of love to your skin care routine.
Winter is a dry season and our skin reflects this. Most of us are lucky enough to experience many months of sunshine leading in to winter, which is a wonderful vitamin D boost, however, it can also lead to skin that requires repair. Winter encompasses factors that contribute to dry skin including warmer showers, heating and most of us consume less water throughout the day during the winter months leading to dehydrated and dry skin.

The Winter Facial is the superhero for your skin this season where your face, hands and feet experience the warmth of an EVOHE cocoon. As we layer our clothes in the winter months, the winter facial is designed as a multi-layered treatment to provide optimal skin care benefits.
The treatment will begin and you will feel your body and mind relax to the sound of the Tibetan singing bowl ritual as you breathe in and set an intention to the signature essential oil blend of a master perfumer. Your winter bliss is about to start.
A gentle cleanser featuring organic apricot oil and cupuacu butter will allow you to drift away to a blend of hot towels and the scents of nature.
A silica mask featuring organic calendula extract and aloe vera is applied to the face and neck. Whilst the mask goes to work encouraging debris to the skin surface, the hands and feet are treated with goldenseal and gotu kola extracts, organic jojoba, hemp, kakada plum seed and pumpkin oil.
The mask is removed revealing a radiant and even complexion and the pH balance of the skin is restored with a gentle tingle from kangaroo apple and snake vine extracts. Hydration is reinstated and antioxidants provided for glowing skin by the layering of serum, oils and moisturisers derived from organic plant oils, goji and finger lime extract.
