Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA)
Earth and Skin are honoured to be announced as a finalist for the highly respected awards. The Australian Beauty Industry Awards are the sole national business awards in the beauty industry and are seen as the benchmark of excellence. This is the first time Earth and Skin have entered the awards and are proud to be listed as a finalist for the State Salon/Spa of the Year QLD – 5 Treatment Rooms or More category.
Earth and Skin are excited about being nominated after their first entry for these awards and are excited about representing the Gold Coast. A Gold Coast Spa or Salon has never won this award since they started in 2012 so Earth and Skin hope that their entry will be successful and they can bring the award home to the Gold Coast.
The award winners are assessed on criteria including demonstration of excellence, business success, green policy and environmental responsibility, customer experience, staff and training and challenges that were successfully overcome. The winners will be announced at the 9th Annual Gala Dinner held at The Star, Sydney on Sunday 25th August 2019.

The creation of Earth and Skin was inspired by Louisa’s mother’s breast cancer and a passion to live a toxin free life. Originating in a small boutique space in Miami on the Gold Coast in 2014, the business rapidly expanded and is now set in an eye catching two level luxury space in the community of Mudgeeraba. Earth and Skin have caught the eyes of media including Mia Freedman from the Mamamia Women’s Network. Louisa Hollenberg, our founder, recently featuring in the Lady Startup book. Earth and Skin is also listed as one of the top South East Queensland spas by Inside Gold Coast, Urban List and Sea Hit 90.9.
The spa’s unique services are provided by a team highly skilled in organic products. The spa treatment menu offers body treatments, facials, male specific treatments, mother and daughter treatments, massage, body sugaring, spray tan, nail services, skin needling, eyebrow and eyelash treatments and makeup application.
